Services
Service and diagnostics
We review alarms, signal states, device communication and the program to find the cause of a machine stop. We can work remotely through access provided by the plant or visit the site. Changes are proposed after the fault has been investigated.
What we do
- PLC and HMI troubleshooting
- Program and alarm analysis for recurring faults
- Remote support via access provided by the plant
- Service visits on site
- Software fixes after diagnosis
- Program backups and documentation clean-up after a breakdown
When to get in touch
- The machine stops with an error nobody understands
- A fault comes back every few days and nobody knows why
- The original machine supplier no longer exists or does not respond
- You need a program backup and nobody knows where it is
How we agree and carry out the work
We first gather the symptoms: the first alarm, stop timing, controller type and recent changes. We determine what can be read remotely and whether a site visit is needed. After diagnosis, we agree on a correction, verification and a backup. If the cause is outside the software, we identify the additional work that needs to be assigned.
PLC modifications may follow diagnosis of a recurring fault.
Clear HMI diagnostics make it easier to gather information at the next stop.
Limits of the team’s scope
Requests can be sent 24/7, but our team cannot provide a permanent duty rota with guaranteed response times or parallel interventions at many plants. Assistance and timing are confirmed after contact. A guaranteed SLA requires a different service arrangement.
Service requests 24/7
You can send an urgent request at any time. Availability and expected response time are confirmed after contact. A site visit depends on location, the fault and team availability. We do not offer a guaranteed SLA.
